I have a 2002 and have been happy with it. With the 2.5 liter engine it can struggle getting out of the hole. I have a 3 liter ProXS on mine and have no problem. Check the trailer good for rust in the cross members.

Thanks, i take it that it must be a pretty heavy sled if that 200 has a tough time coming out. What kind of speed is expected?

I have a 2004 CDX and yes, its HEAVY. Rides and fishes great though. Cold weather I get 64.9 GPS with a 24p Fury 3 blade. This time of year I top at 62 GPS. I am running a 200 Merc DFI. I have been very happy with it.

One thing I will add, I started having some live well issues last year. Im not a salesman, but I would HIGHLY recommend the V-T2 live well vents if they are not already installed. I spent a bunch of $$ and the vents were what stopped the fish loss. Wish I had gone that rout first!

I have the VT2 vents as well and think they really help.
I see 65-67 by myself and 63-64 or so with a full tourney load.

I just got my 2002 901 cdx back around march. Im very happy with my purchase. It has a 200 opti on it and have been impressed. I like the deck layout and compartments, and handles water great. It is a bit on the heavy size, but boat jumps out on pad great, It runs 65/66 just fun fishing, or 62/63 fully loaded.
