181 champion prop suggestions ?

I have a 181DC champ with a 150 fast strike both are 1995 ---I am running a 25P renegade ---only turning about 5000 rpm ---seems like too much prop ---any suggestions for my setup for different prop ---i have always ran 3 blades before this so a 3 or 4 blade would be ok with me ---boat wants to get all the way up on pad but wont get that last step up ---only running 50gps

I have a 181 with a 150 intruder. I'm running a 23 tempest plus. 2 guys with full load I'm running about 55 mph at 5500 rpms.

I have a 1995 181 that had a 150 xr6 tried a 24 trophy it was the same as yours I went to a 21 tempest and it run good but had to watch rpms it would go up to 6000 pretty easy then I went to a 23 tempest and it brought it to life 5600 rpm ran great
I have since changed motors and put a new Mercury 150 four stroke on it and kept the 23 tempest and what a great motor and prop combination I'm playing around with the vent plugs to try to improve a the hole shot some but it isn't bad fully loaded 5600 rpm 58 mph gps

23 tempest plus is one I have been condidering along with a 23 renegade you did have to get hub kit to run the tempest right ? thanks guys for the input !!

my 96 181 had a 175 intruder it ran 63 with a 24 raker.... i now have a new 150HO thats running a bit slower with the 24raker

Xr6 with a 23m and can run 62-64 loaded with one person

I had a 1996 181 with a 150 mercury efi and 6" rapid jack. 62-63mph with a worked 23 tempest plus by Steve's custom props in Texas.
