Looks like jack plate echoes having the transducer on the left side of it.

The unit is a Side Imaging unit and "sees" stuff to the sides. You are getting jackplate echoes whether you recognize them or not.

They are more prominent on SI when the SI range is short. ANY SI transducer in that location will have those close object lines.

The regular SI units will have those same lines on the DI view.

wayne where do i need to mount it to correct it? Do i need a hole shot plate and mount it to the bottom of it?

You can leave it where it is. Put a cover on the bottom of the jackplate so the SI pulses cannot "see" the inside vertical surfaces.

Those that put the SI transducer on the side of a jackplate have to do the same.

Any surface that reflects sonar pulses will get those echoes recorded.

You should be good to go.
Mine is mounted similarly to yours except I attached a bracket to the plate to get my ducer low enough to not have any signal reflection off the jackplate
