Run it at zero, if it doesn't work for you as you want then adjust it. If it ramps up speed to slowly and you drift farther away add 1 if your boat over shoots and over corrects drop down 1.
Mk knows how much boat for each poundage of motor on average. If you have an 80# on the boat go plus 2.... If not run it first and see

On the Ultrex remote the boat setting (-2 to +2) sets the boat weight constant for the spotlock.
