I just installed the 360 on the transom of my boat . The power wire has a "drain" wire the owners manual says to tape it back. I am trying to avoid RF noise can this wire be "grounded" to the alum boat or to the negative battery terminal? I have had RF problems with my helix mega that I have fixed 100%. I would like to get the best Image I can. Thanks
I don't recall connecting any drain wire when I installed my transom 360 a couple of years ago. There is quite a bit of info on drain wires on the Humminbird side imaging forums when searching for "360 drain wire". http://forums.sideimagingsoft.com/in...action=search2
