Small cut in black leather on cowling

I had a large wave hit my wind shield this past weekend because I took my eyes off the water to look at my charting and got hit. The wave broke the front clip that hold part of the windshield on and the windshield tipped back and put a tiny slit in the black plastic leather. The cut is not bad but I don't want it to get bad . I think I have seen things like this get repaired but not sure what to use. Any ideas guys ?

It's amazing stuff ad surprisingly strong/durable.
I bought the single packs of black, just in case.
Fills a rubrail gash pretty good. Wraps around any wire connections or cuts...etc
