    97 tr21 setback

My 6in detwiller hydro plate is unlevel. One ram is about 1in higher than the other. Functions fine still goes up and down but isnt straight. I am looking for a new plate. Will probably just go with manual. I have duel talons with a 225 opti. My talons have the sandwich brackets for add about an inch on setback. Should I stick with a 6in plate or go with an 8in? Thanks

8" or 10" will perform the same. Definitely get rid of the 6".

My old Detwiler was my first jackplate. It measured 7 in off the transom. I also had the sandwich plate for my stbd mounted power pole. I replaced it with a 10" atlas and side mount adapter for power pole because Mercury does not recommend anything between motor and jackplate/transom.
