    Puck antenna

    Going to mount one on my boat and just wondering if anyone can post picks and show where they mounted theirs

    most place them directly behind the drivers seat next to he gunnel, no real need of a puck anymore unless your using the lowrance point one with the magnetic direction arrow, the new units coming out the internal antennas are just as good if not better than the old pucks.

    i mounted my point 1 as near my SI transducer as i could to get better accuracy when waypointing via SI. Prior to that i used the internal GPS on my HDS 10 & 12 on the helm and my waypoints were always 10-15' off
    May not seem like much, but when you are waypointing individual fish in 30-60 FOW - it makes a difference.
