Helix 10 gen 1 vs Helix 12 chirp non Mega??

Have 2 year old Helix 10's gen 1 on my boat, contemplating replacing them with Helix 12's with out the mega. My question is... is the difference the units worth the cost? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Warren

Worth it is a personal decision based on how you use the units. The new units are going to have better imaging and will be supported with software updates a couple more years.

The only MEGA units are Side Imaging units in the G2N series.

The G2N models have CHIRP Sonar and CHIRP Imaging.

The first generation Helix 12's have CHIRP Sonar.

Going from a 10 to a 12 gives you a 2" larger display and higher pixel density. No difference in the display between the first generation and G2N.
