Autochart not recording

So I tried getting my Autochart to work for the first time last night on my Helix 7 G2. Had all the settings in there correctly and had it turned on...but it never started recording. According to the Humminbird site I can record up to 8 hours without a card.

Anyone able to help me out?

Yes it will create contours for up to 8 hours in the unit's memory.

Did you have the Transparency set to 80% or less so you can easily see the data being created?
Was AutoChart Live set to Visible?

I'm not sure on the transparency, but the live was set as visible. I thought the transparency was of the overlayed topo maps?

No Transparency is the Auto Chart Live adjustment overlayed on a background map. You chose whether or not to see the background map through the Auto Chart Live map.
