    Trailer breaks sound terrible

The trailer has about 20-25,000 miles on it, when running over cracks in the road "tar strips" the break calipers jingle and rattle,

i know it's the breaks cause if I feather on the breaks enough to compress the tongue in some to put the calipers against the rotors it stops. Is there any adjustment I can make so there is less slop between the calipers and rotors? It's on a 2015 z8 tandem trailer.

You'd be surprised...jack it up and see if you have play/slop in your suspension bushings. Makes perfect sense that everything gets quiet when you tap the brakes because everything is under pressure. I had a tandem axle trailer under my 929 and thought it was the loudest thing ever until I replaced all my bushings and equalizer with Dexter EZ Flex systems. The only things that can make brakes rattle is the slider pins being worn and loose brake pads.
