Anybody catch any spots on ky or barkley anymore? I used to catch them often 30 years ago. Haven't caught one in 25 years.

I can still catch a few in the quarry, but I rarely catch them anywhere else that I used to.

Still catch a few on South Barkley around deep rocks
I used to catch them all the time back in the 80' and 90's but about ten years ago they really slowed down. I catch a lot fewer small mouth now too in KY/Barkley. I still catch lots of nice largemouth though.

About the only time I catch spots anymore is in the canal. It used to be that I would get into them good in the spring when flipping boat docks.
Thanks for the input guy's.
Saw a survey of a few years ago where they were shocking up hundreds up lm and sm and less than 10 spots. They gave numbers from like 2010 to 2015 or so and the numbers decreased dramatically in those few years.

My wife had one last summer off a deep ledge just over two pounds. Only one on KYL that I've personally seen.
Basscat!
Caught one back in the mid seventies four pounds fifteen ounces on a buzz bait about 4 am. We could go out and catch 15 to 20 sonedays with most being small, but not any more. Haven't caught one in several years.
Caught a nice 2.5 lb spot a couple weeks ago off the rocks in the Dover area.
