Hmm. Dollar Tree has started carrying the yellow bottles with the screw on lids again. I sometimes put a dab on the hook where I put a plastic.

I always used the Gorilla superglue and loved the strength, but didn't like that it's runny and that it dries white. I've gone to Loctite Gel myself. Doesn't hold quite as well as the Gorilla branded stuff, but it's much easier to manage as it's significantly thicker, and it dries clear.

You want to use the gel type super glue with the ingredient Cyanoacrylate in it. It can be used on damp or moist objects, and still stick. It also hardens when it hits the water. I use it in my aquariums to glue plants to rocks or driftwood. you don't need a lot to make it stick. I use the Gorilla super glue gel.
