    6 lb anchor

I don't know why, but I cannot seem to find a traditional 6 lb anchor for my kayak. I've tried a 3lb grappling hook style, and I still end up getting pushed around by the wind/current. I want a 6lb achor that looks something like this: Can anyone help?

That's called a mushroom anchor. I have one upstairs in the attic, but I doubt you're close enough to pick it up....

Those shroom anchors are more for sand/ muddy bottoms, It's great if the majority of your fishing is in sand/ muddy bottomed waters. I have a 3 lb grapple anchor on my Lure 11.5 and it holds great in the wind and current even in sandy bottoms. You can also try DSG for those shroom anchors.

Have you tried using an anchor chain with your grapple anchor?

A 3lb grappling anchor will hold your kayak better than a 6lb mushroom anchor

Put some talons on it, you might lose some top end but it would be worth it.

You might consider a dog leash and barbell
