I will be there around 13 to 15 of July. What would be the best fishing trip (species wise and location) this time of year.

I've caught a lot of very large Jack Crevalle where the canal enters behind the island across the bridge. I'm talking 45 to 55 lb jacks. Made some of my old ambassadeur reels literally explode, blow the side off from mono tension. We used cut bait and waded from shore near that point. Going across the bridge it's the point on the right, and the entrance of the near side canal.
