Transom screws on metal plate breaking

Anyone else had the screws on the metal plate break off for no reason? I've had 2, one on each end break off.

I had the one on the far starboard side back completely out. The others were loose. Tightened them up and seem to be good now. I added a bit of silicone in the hole with them this time.

I havent but the demo at the dealer when i was shopping around had one broke off. Not sure why unless the transom is flexing or the plate was tweaked when they installed it

I've had the port end side break off on a couple of mine.

3 of mine have broken, I drilled one out and replaced it. I'm afraid I am going to damage something. 2 still have the heads broken off. 2015 model

Where exactly afe these screws? Pictures?

On the chrome trim piece on top of the transom. It's the screws that hold it on

Check your corners in that splash well for small gel coat cracks
