Last year I cut a hole in my dash for a JVC car stereo. This year I upgraded my electronics to a Garmin that has Sirius satellite radio. Wish I didn't cut that hole now!

I use a JBL Charge 3 which is a small portable bluetooth speaker connected with my phone and just sit it on the seat. I've thought about getting a Lowrance SonicHub and separate speakers but would have to cut holes. No boat battery drain with a portable either.

I use a mega boom blue tooth speaker. It works pretty awesome. No holes, and no running wires.

^^^^^this is the answer.....for years I wanted a radio in my boat. Finally bought a boat with a radio and never use it.

UE Mega Boom works like a charm.......cheaper, sounds better and can take with me out of the boat.

I'd recommend a nice set of Bluetooth headphones personally. The only downside is that you might not hear what is going on around you. My headphones last 8 hrs before needing recharging and I don't play music loud so I can still hear people talk and birds chirp. Best part is you don't have to cut any holes.

I have the Dual also, no holes to cut. Just remove the useless speedometer and it fits perfectly.

I got a braven Bluetooth speaker last month and love it. Battery last all day and I can take it with me when I'm in the garage pouring lead or out on the back porch relaxing. Mounts onto a go pro mount so it takes up very little space on the boat.

Do any of you know of a decent Bluetooth speaker that has an included FM radio that works worth a flip? I have used a couple of off brand ones and they only pickup channels when I am holding them. Set them down and its static city. I like having a radio because I don't want to stream songs over my phones data plan and don't keep a lot of music locally on my phone.
