I have a 250 VMAX HPDI. '05. Just over 300 hrs. My max rpms are 4600. Then after about 2-5 mins of full throttle, it drops to 4200, and I lose 10mph. My max speed I am getting (at 4600) is 56mph. Wondering what's going on. Any help is much appreciated
Are you new to this boat? What were the Max RPM's? Could me many things but unless you have already done or know the history I would start with Plugs, 10 Micron filter, new bulb, clear canister (pleated) filter, VST screen and HP filter. Also make sure you are running fresh fuel treated with Ring Free. See where that gets you.

Yea I got the boat last fall. Fairly new. I can't remember what the rpms were last year. But it was Def faster. Thanks for the advice. I will start with that
