    Chasing 83

I just can't get my boat to hit 83 loaded like everyone else.
    21XD 14" jack plate 3/4" below pad, 28 hydro q4x 250xs wingmaster. It was 87 47% humidity .

    Any ideas?

Come up to 1/2" below the pad. That is where mine runs the best.

Just how loaded is loaded? Thats different for everybody. See if itll break 80 empty you may have 250lbs of tackle and a 36v troller up front and 4 huge batteries and power poles in the back with 2full saddle tanks for all we know!

I will agree try going up your h20 pressure is good so u got some room to go up. What motor for rpm( you say xs I assume it's racing xs with 6300 rpm)at what gear ratio, Depending on that u might want a bigger pitch prop once u go up. Make sure all your tackle is in the back with only light stuff in the front. Good luck be safe Make sure to wear the cord Keep us posted

The wingmaster gear case will just not run as fast as the Gen1 torque master on a 21xd.

I don't see 83 as a realistic goal with your boat loaded. 80-81 is tops for all the ones in my area similar to you.

I tried 1 click up it was slower by 2 mph (79mph) and a hair over 6000 rpms, went back to the ramp and moved it 2 clicks down it was about 1 mph slower (80mph) @58XX.
Now to be fair today's conditions were not great alot more wind.
