BCB....Could you tell me the EXACT measurement from the rearmost section of a Merc Pro XS200 to the rearmost section of the P-Classic? (With the engine in vertical position.

This is vital because of my garage length and it is THE deciding factor as to whether I order P2 or a P-Classic.
    TIA

Is the pop lock axle an option on the classic? Tight turning conditions and it would be a deal breaker for me owning a dual axle without it.

I've been pricing the classic at a couple dealers. One said standard are helix 5 and one said its now helix 7 GPS. So I was trying to confirm.

What is a pop lock axle?

I also have concerns with moving a dual axle trailer in my garage by hand. I thought about using those wheeled dollies.

A pop lock axle, allows you to slightly raise one axle off the ground. That allows more maneuverability of the trailer in tight spots.

I am guessing you have to lower the jack all the way down and lock the axle in place so that when you raise the jack back up the axle rises off the ground? I am totally guessing.

PoP axles work on a tab that holds the axle up and an assembly that allows a square tubing part to slide internally like a hitch, then the lip of the hitch would hold the axle up. The compression of the spring is achieved with a simple 3" to 4" wood block under the front tires and the jack allows operation and direction pushing manually.

The 4 inch tandem measures 102", I've been told the 3 inch measures 97". What trailer option do you need to fit it inside an 8 foot door? Single I guess?

They can make the trailers down to the boat width of 90".

You will have to speak with a dealer.

Curious about the reasoning behind placing the rear mooring cleats on the transom rather than the gunwales? I frequent a variety of resorts and have to tie up to docks so using boat bumpers is a real necessity. How would I keep a boat bumper in place at the aft end of the boat when there is no cleat to keep it positioned on the side of the boat?

The cleats double in parts as a hand hold for the boarding ladder. In keeping the cost within limits they didn't want to use a vinyl garb (grab) handle and that is not high quality. Thus they put the cleats around the back and the fenders should be able to hang off the sides. The rope just has to be longer.
