Looks like after only a month my Lakemaster card is shot. New Helix 10 will not read the card. Pulled it out of the slot once. Needless to say, I'm a little ticked.
Now for my question.
I used a Navionics card over the weekend for a local lake (Lakemaster wouldn't read and it's not an HD lake). Is there anything that I can't do on a Navionics that I can do on a LakeMaster? ie. autochart, waypoints, casting rings, spotlock.....
I'm interested in this as well......

I think a Navionics+ or Navionics+ Regions card would be a good investment, and they work very well on Humminbirds.
I spoke with Bird customer service. Per Bird, the Nav card does not allow you to "follow the contour" and several others. I zoned out when he said that, as that's a deal breaker for me.
Maybe your Lakemaster card is fine and the card reader on the Helix 10 isn't working.

Read someone post they has issue with their card and gave HB a called and got a replacement.
