    Shimano NASCI Spinning Reel

Anyone have one of these in a 2500, or 3000 size. Comments?

It's a fantastic reel! Before it's release, Shimano said it would be a game changer, and I agree with that statement. It's a really nice reel and should be priced a lot higher with what's inside of the reel. Can't go wrong with a NASCI.

The NASCI has a graphite frame and sideplate , if that doesn't matter to you , go for it.

Step up to the ultegra for a little more and get a screw in handle and higher gearing

Looked at one when they first came out. Very nice but no antireverse switch. This was a dealbreaker for me, but if its not important to you, give them a good look. I ended up buying a couple of Symetres on sale.

    I have a 2500 version.
Very smooth reel. To be honest, more smooth than my Stradic 2500fj and Stradic CI4+.
Probably one of the best reel for $100.
