    2000 X21 jack plate prop shaft height?

    2000 X21 with 200 Xri , prop shaft is currently 6" below pad. Currently have a Tempest plus 25p on it and also have a 24 pitch Trophy plus...running about 54mph at 5200rpm wot....any ideas? Thanks!

    Go to the lake.
    Make sure it's got a typical load in the boat.
    I'd start at 4" and then run it, raise it 1/4" at a time, and go until you lose lift, speed or water pressure. Then YOU"LL know exactly where it needs to be. Nobody can know here, because no two rigs are exactly identical.
