    summit lake - Strippers?

    does anyone know if Summit lake has Hybrids or Strippers in it? was out there the other days and something was busting shad but I could not get them to bite anything.

    Probably white bass, don't think it has either hybrids or striped bass.

    No wonder I always leave that place with less money in my wallet.
    Probably walleyes or catfish. I've never caught any white bass there

    I'd bet it was small bass busting shad there. The lake is full of bass in the 8"-12" range. At least it used to be. I've not been there in a couple of years.

    All we caught when we were there were 2lb fish. Of course we only had 7 bites all day, and everyone of the 5 we boated was 2lbs.

    Maybe the bass have grown up? I suppose I should go over there and give that lake a try again. Its only about 30 minutes from my house. Just never liked fishing there.
