I am still basically in break-in mode with a little over 3 hrs. give or take. In the second hour of run time I was hitting 57 - 58 mph and felt like it definitely had more in her. I am finding this to be a really fun and forgiving boat to drive. Don't know your set-up but think 60 - 61 s very attainable. Just my guess. Good luck.

Decked out with an Optimax Pro XS, Airport reports a solid 58 and no more. They're getting slower speeds with the 4Stroke.

your boat would be identical setup to the one I ordered with a hydraulic plate too. That info helps!

I'm getting 60 WOT trimmed up with the jackplate at 3.5 ptp but it hits the rev limiter. Looking for a 24p sho or turbo prop.

I think 65 is possible. Spoke with the gentleman on Facebook with the g2 and he was getting 62-63. Sweet little boats! Tough decision if I go back to glass or tin.

I just put that same prop on today. Only getting 58.2 with just me 215lbs at 5900 rpms full livewell and 3/4 tank before chine walk kicks in. Wondering if I should just drop my JP all the way down. If it goes any higher it gets cavitation when turning.

What else do you have in the boat?
I have three Trolling motor batteries ,cranking battery, and two chargers, Dual Talons, 4" Atlas Jack Plate, Merc Pro XS (4 Stroke) and running a 24P Tempest Plus and got 55.2 the other day. I would assume you should hit 60+ with your rig if you don't have all the stuff I have.

I have the Merc 150L 4 stroke mounted in the second hole from the top (no jack plate), 24 tempest prop with no plugs. With two people, all my fishing tackle, full tank of gas and live well half full, trimmed all the way up I get 57.8 gps and 5250 rpms (mph and rpm's are from vessel view). My speedo shows 60-61 mph. Occasionally I do experience some chine walking and some cavitation in sharp turns. I may plug the prop vents and see how that works. I believe the 23 tempest would bring my rpms up (max rpm for the 150L is 5800) but dont think it would make much difference otherwise. Hole shot is fine.

Just finished removing the on-board battery chargers trying to reduce some weight. Hope to improve the hole shot and some top end speed.
Also mounted a Attwood 360 navigation light to my starboard Talon. No more plugging navigation poles. for me

58.5 for me. Just finished break in. Have done nothing to stock setup and probably won’t. No JP, no special prop, etc

Mechanic Bob what speeds you see by yourself? I have the same boat but running a 4” hydraulic jack plate with the th marine transom wedges and a 23p prop. By myself I’m at 60.0. If I have a partner and his gear and full live wells I’m around 52. Really thinking about bumping up to a 24p prop but don’t know yet.
