Three of them are 18 ft. and have been listed for a while. I've been thinking of selling mine and moving to a multi-species boat, but there doesn't seem to be much interest in the 18 ft class boats...at least not on this forum.

Good used bass boats are in high demand.

The one in Wichita Falls should sell fast.

    Wasn't that boat rated for a 200?

That's a scam for sure. No phone # & no tags on the boat.

Yes sir, i was thinking about a 196. I did notice the lack of TX reg numbers though, major red flag.

Is the market for the 186 and 187 not as strong? Been wrestling wth what to do with my 99 186..I like it and would rather invest in significant upgrades and run it than buy a 50,000 boat...not trying to hi-jack.

In most areas people want 19' & bigger. I took a beating on my 18'5" skeeter when I sold it just because of that.

Now some places that have small waters, it doesn't matter as much.

Your 186 is still valuable to a lot of people. Not everyone wants a 20 footer with a 225+. More people can afford to buy yours as well.

I don't dispute this, but at the same time, new smaller glass boats have a pretty viable market place. I was surprised to see 17ft and 18ft boats on the show room floor at BPS. They are less expensive than the big boys, obviously, but are still a lot compared to a used similar sized boat.

We know what we have. I couldn't be happier.

    Mike,
You probably took a bath on the Skeeter because of how many are here in TX. Lots of Skeeter owners and easier to find. It was a clean boat you had.
