actually you can. They will look just like they have been recovered. Do your boat a favor and go through Deans Top and Canvas or go with the Llebroc seats. All BBC sponsers.

I chose to get away from the original bench seats and used Deans to get new bucket seats for my '93 190, and they customized them to fit perfectly.

I recently got a set from bassboatseats.com for $319 shipped and they seem to be made very well. Time will tell on the material but I would think if you take care of them they will stay nice. I'll try to add a pic.
