Was loading my boat yesterday and must have hit the down foot switch on my way out of the boat to winch it up. Partially deployed the power poles and dragged the poles about 200 yds up the road almost to the parking lot when I saw a guy in my mirror waving frantically. Raised the poles up but they were sharpened to a point and about 3" shorter. Contacted power-pole customer service and two new spikes are in the mail already.
Great of Power-Pole customer service to even cover my stupidity under warranty. I always look at the motor to be sure it is up before I get in the truck, not sure how I didn't see the power poles were down but that will definitely be on my check sheet from now on after this oops.
