    Fuel tank

Has anyone here had an aluminum tank made to replace the Nylon/plastic tank in their Triton. I have had my boat disassembled down to working on the fill/vent hoses. It wouldn't be hard at all to remove the tank so it could be duplicated by a competent metal fabricator and get rid of the vapor smell. There may be a place that has them ready to buy and swap, I'm asking.

Go to Youtube and do a search for "TACO Marine Project Boat by Ship Shape TV: Part 8". It covers the fabrication of new tanks for one of their boats and gives information for TNT Custom Boat Works in Florida. I'm unaware of any place you could buy an aluminum tank ready to drop in as the tank design Triton used is not necessarily an off the shelf item (neither are many boat manufacturers). It was designed specifically for that hull. But, I bet you could have one made if you have enough money. I'm thinking they aren't cheap.
