    250 XS leak

Recently had my lower unit rebuilt on my 2008 250 xs racing. Ran it for 8 hours and noticed what I thought was gear lube coming out between top of case and mid section. Took the lower unit back and they said its not gear lube it is 2 stroke oil and that it is probably the crankshaft seal. What does this sound like to you guys? Is it dangerous to run in the meantime?

Savage is right- if the lower crank seals are leaking, they should be replaced asap.
