I have a 2012 Pro XS 175 that I just rigged up on my boat, and am having some trouble.
The motor idles with no issue, and has power getting on plane. It will run fine on plane for about 100 yards or so, then it feels like I am taking my foot off the gas. The motor drops back to an idle and sits the boat down in the water, and the engine spits a little and shuts down. There are no alarms, and nothing is indicated on my SmartCraft gauge. When I turn the key off, and crank the motor it fires with no issue.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?
