Has anyone used a worm weight similar to these?

I made these and they worked pretty good on thicker body baits like tubes and craws... Not so much on thinner baits as minnow, sinko, drop shot baits..

So today I made the mold to accept the barb style keeper for thinner baits.... These are line through.

    They worked great this weekend...

Do you place a "pin" through it to pour in order to make the channel or hole the line goes through? Looks good.

Yes... A pin is in place before the pour and is pulled out when lead has set up.

I have about 25 molds and used to sell a couple 1000. hair jigs a year along with flipping jigs.....then kids came....

question now is with all the regs. against lead, the doit yourself is getting tougher. It pay 4.00 for a sinker too. any products that are reasonable and manageable to be compliant? yea I will be an outlaw and still pour lead, but wondering where it is going.... I have 200lbs of pure precision lead still....1000s of hooks.
