We stay in Grand Isle.at Cozy Cottages , if this is any help.. you are about 18 miles from Can.
Marinevillage cottages on the ny side. Great place to stay. Close to stores and sporting goods stores.

I've been staying at Cozy Cottages for seven years. Alan and his Dad at Cozy Cottages are great to deal with and they are very reasonably priced. They have two cabins that could support 6 guys and they have their own ramp in the Gut. They are the nicest cabins I've seen in the area.
My buddy Dave just took over ownership of The Anchorage in South Hero and has done many updates. It's right near the Appletree boat ramp
