2001 G3 Pro 185 MV - part identification... HELP!

I have a 2001 G3 Pro 185 MV that ive been in the process of re-decking, carpeting, etc... I'm done with the decking and carpeting and ready to put it all back together but there's one triangular aluminum piece that was covered in carpet that I can't for the life of me remember where it goes. If there's anyone with this same boat that can help me identify what it's for and where it goes, I'd be really grateful! Here are a few pics of it.... It was carpeted before I stripped it off.

Question for ya, Is your entire boat riveted in? I need to redo my carpet and everything is riveted in.
