    Shimano Curado?

Looking to buy one. I see them on sale everywhere. As low as $129. What's the deal? Are they coming out with a new model? Anyone know anything?

There are been a ton of threads discussing this all over the net. Basically the answer is yes. But no when what or any other details. T only makes sense as the Chronarch has been upgraded. No one has really confirmed anything as of yet.

Im really hoping for a silver gold or all black Curado MGL with an aluminum frame.

As for Curado i at $129-$149 that's a great value.
Most retailers are low or out, if anyone is looking though I understand Tacklewarehouse has a bunch......

There was a thread in the lounge about the new curado being black. And there's a thread on the Tackle Tour forums about it too, with info on a Chronarch G, with a deeper spool for saltwater use.
I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.

My wife bought me a Curado 71HG for my birthday, and I'm really digging that reel. She probably paid $200 for mine. At $150ish price point, I'd definitely buy one or two more.

It is a great reel for throwing lightweight baits (Weightless Senkos, Flukes, Shakey Head Worms, Fly poppers, etc...)!

I just recently got one a few days ago, I could not pass on the price, but I will be getting a Curado K when they are available.
The Curado I is a pretty awesome reel, my Metaniums are a lot better in almost every way but the curado works excellent.

I added ARB spool bearings, two bearings to each knob and used a spare Metanium handle I had and added it to my curado I, mine is used for cranking on a Dobyns 705 fury rod.
