    Trailer vibration

2014 tandem carrying a Z9. Trailer is smooth as glass until I hit 70mph. Good tires. Proper psi....what could be up?

You could have a belt separated on one of your tires.

I second it's a tire, broke belt or just lost its weighs.

take the trailer and to a place that offers road balancing. The tires come with balancing beads in them and don't work. They'll vacuum them out and balance them the right way. Just had mine done last week and made a world of difference. Between 67 and 74 it shook like hell before.

Definitely get them balanced... Many places tell you its not a big deal cuz its on the trailer and you wont feel it. That total BS. An unbalanced tire will wear out twice as fast and depending on how bad it is, it wear out the bearings as well. Always get your trailer tires balanced and have them checked occasionally, extends the life of the tires tremendously.

Mine was one of the original tires splitting a belt. Jacked up to change and one side of the tire was more than 1/2" taller than the other. Manageable at 50, HORRIBLE at 75!!!

I had almost the exact symptom as one of my tires failed. 70 was smooth, but 71 vibrated.

If you can't see anything with the tires, put your spare in each spot to figure out which tire it is.

Thought I saw somewhere that stated ST tires are only rated to 65mph.....

Who drives 65 on an interstate, you will get run over.

Some are, but some are rated over 100MPH.
