    Price to rebuild?

    I've got a 98' 225 efi 3.0 and it has the stock lower unit on it now. When I bought it he gave me a sport master but it needs to be rebuilt. It has the drive shaft and prop shaft but no bearings or anything. Who should I contact about rebuilding it and approximately what would I be looking at cost wise?

    Our Service Department builds these quite regularly. Would need to see what you have in terms of case and shafts (to confirm they are suitable for use).

    Normally can build one up for 3500-4000 (perhaps less if case and ALL shafts are good).
