20 XRD Help

Considering a 2004 20 XRD purchase with a Mercury 2.5 engine. I was told that the motor will push around 240 HP.
What speed should I expect if properly set up?


Any good or bads about this rig?

Over 100 after you learn to drive it and thats not every day you can run that. Very dangerous!! Get plenty of help and experience please! Also get a lifeline jacket for those runs

That 2.5 liter could be a 225 pro max which would have close to 240 hp or a 2.5 280 hp which definitely put you close to 100 mph.

I Think the one he is looking at is the 2.5 with 3liter midsection. Only made 1-2 years . It is not a pro max . Boat is listed on fastbass

Can't imagine a 240 hp pushing a 20xrd over 100.

I agree with onttr22. I doubt it very seriously that a 240 hp 2.5 liter will push a 20XRD 100 mph. Mid to upper 80's is very possible?

I'd guess the previous owner would know exactly what is will run, especially if it's one of the Fastbass guys.

This will be my first bullet and I don't know their values.

What you guys think this boats worth?

Its clean low hours but needs update graphs, has small rust repair on trailer, and small seat tear.

It is worth the money he is asking. Doesn't he want 20K.

Don't care bout he graphs .... if the boat is as clean as it appears and the mota is solid 20 is good. IMO
