Hey guys. I am having an issue with my 1987 Yamaha 70hp outboard reverse. Anyone have a 703 controller? My reverse goes back about 45 degrees total and stops, I don't know if this is correct or not but my motor will not go in reverse hard enough to pull it off the trailer. My question is.. anyone with a 703 controller, how far does it go back in reverse and are you getting a lot of throttle in reverse? We have eliminated the cables out of the equation. When the back plate is removed off of the controller it goes back 90 degrees from neutral just like it does in forward but when the back plate is put back on it stops at 45. Thank you in advance!
