    Shenandoah River around Fort Royal

My boss likes to fish from time to time especially with his kids. He wanted to either wade, rent a canoe, etc and fish for smallies on the Shenandoah around the fort royal area. He asked if I knew what to throw and honestly don't know the river at all. He likes throwing plastics alot, but didn't know if a spinnerbait, crank, even a jerkbait would also be good choices. Any help on lure choices would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
