Is there any real way to tell orignal vixen vs newer ones?

I have both and it is really hard to tell if you take off the split ring. Anyone have a sure fire way to tell?

There was something different about the line tie I think. Check out both and see

From the horses mouth today - the tail is slightly wider on the new one, the line tie is slightly larger on the new one. Now I have to go and compare my baits...

The line tie on the original is more recessed and up towards the nose more.
