    2000 Outlaw - Setback?

On my 2000 Outlaw I am currently running an 8" Bobs Hydraulic JP, 200 Opti, with a 27 Tempest and getting 74-74.8 consistently with 1 person and a load turning 5700 rpms. Would adding a set of 2" spacers help or hurt performance on this hull? I see the bigger G's running a 10" JP with 2" spacers and I am just curious. Thanks for any advice!

you will see zero performance gains...it will give you a tad more bow lift at max trim is it....
    dont waste your money...
i did this on my 2003 outlaw with 225 EFI...
if you want gains, dump the tempest and run a 26 fury 3 blade, or a trophy...

Good to know someone has already tried it! And more bow lift wont help me at all, at top speed im not close to max trim anyhow. I've tried a 26 Fury, unworked in good condition it ran 73.7 is the best it would do, the only thing i havent tried yet is a 27 Trophy. Ive ran a stock 27 tempest and that ran 74.8 loaded with 1 person in cold weather and the 27 Tempest im running now has been B&B with cup added and will run 74.8 in 80 degree water/air temps. Maybe the Fury I tried was dud? I believe the 26 Trophy I had wasnt enough prop as it was all over the limiter.

What kind of numbers were you seeing with the 225 EFI? That sounds like sweet setup!

With bone stock 225 Efi,(2002) and my bone stock 27 trophy, 10" Jp,79.5 5900 Roma loaded out spring, 77 hot summer air...
tempest was a solid 3mph slower and lost a ton when livewells full...trophy is near same speeds loaded or not because of the transom lift...

Well, sounds like I need to find a good Trophy to try!
