    2017 721 bow cup holder

Anyone had theirs fly out while running? Mine flew out while running wide open and hit my buddy.

It nailed him right in the chest. First thing I said was if it hit you in the chest then why didn't you catch it?

The cup wasn't clued/screwed in then. On my 2017 721 the open plastic cell phone holder cup thing on right side of the driver's seat wasn't screwed in and it flew out.

I've lost mine twice now. Tim sent me a new one each time, and I finally used silicone to get it to stay.

Sounds like they need to start using some glue on those things. I believe they just have some sticky tape that's supposed to hold them

Most SS cups come with sticky tape below the lip. Over time that sticky tape dries and the cups can come loose. It really helps to run a bead of clear silicone around the entire cup edge even if your cups appear solid. My dealer told me to do that on my new boat a few years ago. You can get those small tubes of silicone caulking for a couple bucks. Cheap insurance.
