    Smallmouth fishing in the NC/TN border area

    I posted this in the NC section as well. My dad, who lives in west KY and I are thinking about meeting up somewhere the last weekend of July for some smallmouth fishing. Does anyone have lake in the TN/NC area they would recommend for that time of year?
