    Bow mount install?

    I'm wondering if someone could gimme a step by step on installing a bow unit and how they attached the trolling motor transducer. Just don't wanna mess anything up lol

    I mounted my transducer to a transducer shield then ran my wire up the trolling motor and coiled up the excess and tucked it behind the little plate on my bow and ran the end back out to my unit. Here's some pics

    Where did you run the power to? My graph now is set up on the acc switch up front so I'm guessing that's where it connects?

    to a dedicated blue sea fuse panel that is directly connected to the battery with 6 gauge wire

    It is recommended that you criss-cross in a figure eight the extra cable instead of coiling the cable, this helps reduce potential interference issues.

    Figure 8 for sure with a SI or DI unit. I don't remember it mattering so much with 2D sonars. Most of my extra transducer cable got wrapped around a ferrite ring.
