    Brookville?

Here Hoosiers, Buckeye here that's going to invade Brookville Friday. I looked at some maps and I'm mainly going to target ledges and offshore structure. I was wondering if there's any grass near the shoreline for a frog bite, and how's the top water bite in general. And is the small mouth population good enough to just target them in a tournament? If I like it I might travel back Saturday and fish the USA bassin. Thanks fellas!

You aren't going to find any grass, at least not now. Sometimes later in the summer there might be a bit of grass, but it's scarce, if there at all. There's plenty of smallmouth. I catch more of them than green fish. Topwater bite early is usually pretty fair. I've not been down there for a couple weeks though.
