I have a 997c the left side of my side imaging screen is not as clear as the right side , is that the transducer or the unit?
It could also be something to the left of the transducer blocking the signal. You would need to test your head unit with another transducer or someone else's installation to determine which is the issue.

Ok my motor is to the left side, but I will check with some friends to see if I can hook to their transducer
I'm going out tomorrow morning and I will take some pictures.
