10 ft. Power Pole Blades thanks to Roy at Wacky Riggers

Although there were very good prices from all BBC sponsors on Power Pole Blades, I ultimately chose to go with Wacky Riggers. Thank you Roy for your outstanding customer service and quick turn-around.

The jackplate is a CMC Powerlift with 10" setback. I mounted the pumps in my starboard side rear compartment (my tools go there anyways). The relays came from a local auto-parts store and are 12VDC 40 Amp. The poles only come on when those relays are powered by my accessory switch.

Do your blades close tightly at the bottom or is there a little slack? I recently went from 8ft to 10ft. My 8ft's would close tightly. In other words the fiberglass rod would close tightly against the pole. My 10ft's have a little slack at the bottom.

My starboard Blade was closing with some slack at first. What I figured out was that I had too much slack in the hydraulic lines where they come from the bracket/top knuckle. I pulled that slack out and it has worked fine ever since.

Right before they go into the bracket, they had too much slack, so I pulled the slack out and it has been fine since then.

Where they are the closest to the camera in that picture is where the slack was.

How long are those hydraulic lines?

Not sure... if you call Power Pole they will probably give you the specs.
