Humminbird Feature Request (tell them what you would like to see)

We see suggestions and requests for features all of the time. Since we know Humminbird monitors our forum, I thought it might be useful to have a thread to contain everything in one place. So, what are your suggestion or requests?

- allow window resizing on solix units
- allow individual scroll speeds for 2d, si, and di
- allow all network devices and units to be updated together
- do away with the need to restore defaults before or after a software update
- save favorite views on solix as part of the save settings feature

Would like to be able to display the saved waypoint icons (trees, rocks, stump..) without the names on the screen. Only current way only displays circles for everything on my Helix 10 Mega.

Humminbird (and all other vendors) need some proper interface for addressing issues/bugs/feature requests. The entire software development industry practices it. They will never address issues fast enough if they have to rely on trolling the forums for user input.

Solix:
Get rid of the box around the waypoint icons

Allow waypoint names to be enlarged for old people that can’t read the small text!

OTHER:
A waypoint management system that was created in this century

Allow us to look at the maps we purchase from you on a PC and see the waypoints we have on the maps

- Fix the visible/hidden view feature related to RADAR and NMEA views so users can hide the views if not needed.

- Update the Humminbird PC software to allow for management of Itracks and Spot-Locks.

I would love to be able to turn on a Humminbird early in the morning without being blinded and losing my night vision for 15 minutes. Please have the units start up at a brightness level of 5 or less, if for no other reason do it for safety's sake. Thanks!

Better interfacing between networked units (e.g., sharing maps vs only way points). Seemless integration between chirp and non-chirp sonar units (e.g., Helix 12 SI and Helix 10 DI) that are sharing the same transducer. Currently, to utilize sonar on the Helix 10 DI that shares the transducer with the Helix 12 SI. you must manually turnoff the chirp feature on the Helix 12 unit in order to display sonar on the Helix 10 unit that is sharing the Helix 12 transducer.

Ability to turn the 360 unit on/off via a switch versus electronically through the Humminbird unit. Then when using the 360 unit, use the hummingbird unit to pause the 360 unit when out of the water. The integration between 360 unit and multiple sonar units needs to be more intuitive and user friendly.

I would like to disable map sharing in ONIX and SOLIX. It's great that they added map sharing but I cant believe they were so short sighted as to not make it where you could disable it. I want to look at two different maps on two different units and cannot. Frustrating.

Make the NMEA 2000 information the same as what Lowrance offers. ( A page with all engine information such as engine hours, rpms, etc.)
