A prior notice with the intent would have been nice so we could gather that info beforehand. I think you can request some of that info from CS. Bob

Not that I have found. I have gone through the create an account sequence and it just comes back to the original sign in screen. They need some actual professional IT people to get involved. Pretty lame. Bob

Many of the links to FAQ don't work either ... the FishSmart page is one of them.

A never ending thread. Folks like to imagine what a perfect GPS/fishfinder would be like in their opinion. Doesn’t hurt to dream I guess.

I would prefer some choice to disable the yes/no popups.
It's a bit of a chore, especially when you first fire up the units, to navigate through the different screens and selections and while you're pressing buttons you inadvertently change something when a popup suddenly appears.
I've made it a habit to always use the left arrow and avoid the right arrow during these times.

I’d like a button to switch active screens, rather than having to mash the menu button, then read the display to see which arrow I need to use when mashing the 4 way button left or right.

Usually asking if I want to switch to local 2D/temp source, before the units have a chance to sync up on the network.
Also when the 360 connects to the network it will usually ask if I want to deploy it.

I was looking at your list of stuff! That is one heck of a network! The order you power up might make that easier. That is pretty complex, maybe HB CS might be able to suggest. Bob

Unhappy reason for account not working

I experienced the same issue a couple of weeks ago. I called Humminbird and learned they have discontinued the use of the "account registration process". They no longer support the setting up accounts to register all your HB equipment in one location. Somewhat perplexing to me, as I found this a useful feature of their website.

New power cables for the Solix units. This 18 gauge stuff is crap causing many people to run heavy gauge wire to their console. The power wire for the units should be at least 14 to 12 gauge!!!!

The wire gauge is sufficient for its length---6'. It's the less than adequate boat wiring that is the issue.
